    Hi – after completing my 10k training plan, I managed my ‘race’ today, and scraped 5 seconds off my PB – which I’ll take 🙂

    Is it safe now to use my 30 mins peak HR as displayed in Training Peaks as my LTHR ?

    Carrott, congratulations!

    Yes, you can use the peak 30. Of course, normally we take the peak 20 of a 30-minute TT, but that’s just to accomodate your HR catching up to your intensity. With a ~40-minute TT (your 10K), we can take the full 30 instead.
