Yesterday after finishing a Half Marathon, I got an automatic threshold pace update on my training peaks app, but when I put the finishing time on the endurance zone calculator it give me a difference on -15 seconds (5.30 [app] ; -5.15 [calculator] ) on the threshold pace update.

    Wish result should I follow?
    – The automatic on one from the app ?
    – The manual one from the calculator?

I recommend you disable the zone auto update feature on your device. It’s not reliable.

Matt, I have been trying the zone calculator.

On my last race I set PR on 10K and Half Marathon.

On the Zone Calculator, when I use the result of the 10K is it quite different if I use the results of the Half marathon.

Shall I use the results from the HM or 10K?

    5:28 for 10K results
    5:16 for HM Results

Use your half-marathon time. It doesn’t make sense to use a split time for a shorter distance because that number doesn’t represent a limiting performance. If you had run a 10K race instead of a half marathon on the same day, you obviously would have gone faster.

    Of course!

I was just impressed by my times and I just overlooked at it. My bad.

    Thanks!
