I’m completely new to this, I’ve been doing the 80/20 Running: 2021 Edition 5K Level 1 and the week previous to the race there is a run of 9.40km 2.10 hours… but up to then the maximum would have been 1.20. I’ve never run that long and I was just wondering if maybe it’s not right and it’s from another plan and it just got stuck into mine. I hope so! Does anyone know?
Bea, thanks for using our plans. This is not an error. We are comfortable prescribing 9.4 km at this point in the plan. Additionally, TP is not accurately predicting your workout duration. It’s assuming you’ll be running an average of 4.5 kph, but there is significant higher intensity in this run that will bring that pace up.
