I will run an IM 70.3 in June 27/2021, and I just bought the 19 weeks 80/20 level 2 training plan and started using it today. From now to the race day there are 22 weeks.
I have one question, what is the best way to convert my 19 weeks plan into a 22 weeks plan, I know the easiest way could be just copying and pasting randomly two or three weeks, but what could you guys recommend me to pick the right two or three weeks to make my plan longer?
I just want to take advantage of the time increasing my training charge from now, instead of just continue using perhaps the 80/20 maintenance plan.
Thanks for using our plans! With the 70.3 Level 2 plan, the recommendation is easy. The first 3 weeks are a 3-week meso-cycle (base-base-rest) so duplicating the first 3 weeks is perfect to extend from 19 to 22 weeks.
Later on the Level 2 plan moves to a 4-week cycle, but the first 3 weeks will fit nicely for your needs.
