    Hi David and Matt,

    I’m training using Marathon Level 1 plan. Now at week 8 of it. And I faced RDI (Descending Intervals Run) workout.
    What confuses me is inconsistency of description and structured workout.
    In description it’s stated The heart of the workout is a set of five efforts of decreasing length that target Maximal Aerobic Speed (MAS).

    But in structured workout I can see 7 intevals. Last 2 are repeating. For example, RDI4:
    5:00 in Zone 1
    5:00 in Zone 2
    3:00 @ MAS/2:00 in Zone 1
    2:00 @ MAS/1:20 in Zone 1
    1:00 @ MAS/0:45 in Zone 1
    0:45 @ MAS/0:30 in Zone 1
    0:30 @ MAS/0:20 in Zone 1
    0:45 @ MAS/0:30 in Zone 1
    0:30 @ MAS/0:20 in Zone 1
    10:00 in Zone 1

    I’ve checked all the others using RDI1 to RDI12 from distance based workout library and all of them have repeating ones.

    Can you please confirm that structured workouts are correct and it shall be more than 5 intervals actually?

    Thanks for pointing out this discrepancy. That’s a classic copy/paste error. The easiest versions of the workout do not have repeated steps but the rest do. I will revise the text description to eliminate confusion. For now you can trust that the structured versions are correct.

    Just did RDI4 today and it still described as five efforts not 7 (and the two at the end are killers !)

    Hmm. Did you pull this from the workout library or is it in a plan? I made the required fix in all versions of the standalone workout on February 20th and gave Coach David instructions on where to find/replace them in the plans.
