Thanks for being one of our athletes. If you are using the 2020 Edition 5K Level 0 plan, your longest run will be 36 minutes. If you are using the 2021 K Level 0 plan, your longest run will be 45 minutes (if you reload your plan in TP you will automatically have the 2021 Edition plan).
The 25-minute runs are early runs, they get longer through the plan.
Both of these durations will get you through a 5K. Even if you can’t run a 5K in 36 minutes, your longest time to run a 5K is probably ~40 minutes, and your 36-minute run will get you ready for that 40-minute run just fine. It’s common at every distance to not run the full race distance before the race. You don’t run a marathon in training before the marathon, you don’t run 100 miles before a 100-mile event. While it’s less common for a 5K not to run a 5K in training, it’s not a problem.
