I have 9 weeks left of my Olympic distance level 1 program. This Friday I am planning to do an all-day ride with a friend. I’m wondering how I should adjust the plan for the week.
Move Friday’s run to Thursday. Saturday’s a swim-only day, so that gives your legs 48 hours to recover before you’re scheduled to get on the bike again. If your legs are still wrecked Sunday, skip that day’s ride. If they feel decent, do the ride but cut it in half.
