I am on week 11 of L2 of my full IM training plan coupled with the weight training plan. Still no swimming and local pools are not opening until the end of June. I just learned my full IM is now deferred until 2022, and my Oly, which was going to be a tune up race, has now moved to Aug 28th. I think I can get comfortable enough in the pool over the 8 weeks to attempt the swim, so I plan on competing in the Oly.
However, not sure how to adjust my IM training plan…. I would prefer just to scale it down, cant afford to purchase a Oly plan right now. Any advice?
