How to take workouts with me?

I bought the plan but I don’t think my Garmin Forerunner 935 will download the workouts to the watch.

So, I don’t know how I will be able to remember the workouts after viewing them on Training Peaks.

Do I need to buy a different and expensive watch to bring the structured workout plans with me to my workout?

I have a 945, but the 935 manual says the 935 also supports structured workouts, so I would expect it to work. Have you linked Garmin Connect to Training Peaks so you can see your workouts in Garmin Connect? If so then they should sync automatically your watch when you sync it with Garmin Connect.

You don’t need fancy technology. I would always write them on my hand. Then when I got done with an interval, I could just rub it off. Sometimes, I would pick up little pieces of stones per intervals and then toss them as I completed them – ie 5×200 – i would have 5 little stones.

Second thought print them out, and put them on a little piece of paper.

Or, these workouts are typically not crazy to remember (unlike some I’ve had from previous coaching). You could just remember them.

You absolutely can take your workouts with you using the Garmin 935. You just need to set-up the syncing between Training Peaks and Garmin Connect. Here are the directions:

And this document I hope will make it really walk to walk through the process!
