The last couple weeks, I have developed a bit of irritation/inflammation in my knee. It isnt painful, just more annoying and nagging. I am into the portion of my workout plan with long bricks on the weekend for an upcoming race on May 22. Is it better to take a weekend off & hope it gets better quickly, or keep training unless it gets worse?
Given your description of what you’re experiencing, it should be okay to continue training as planned. If you want to be extra cautious, reduce your running volume moderately for a few days and see what effect that has.
