Merry Christmas to all! I’m planning to do a 500km (310 miles) fastpacking thru-hike end of May, early June. I was thinking to combine a strength program with a running program but I’m not really sure mostly regarding the running program. I’ve been training since last year for another thru-hike doing some core exercises and runs long hikes but for this year I would like to follow a more consistent plan rather than doing generic staff. Do you think perhaps I should be looking for other kinds of programs? I’ve been running z1-z2 regularly for the past 2 months.
Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
