My 2022 plan is a 70.3 in July. This will put me beginning a Tri plan early March.
In a couple weeks I’ll be doing a 1/2 marathon “race”. My question is this. There will be about 16 weeks between the completion of my HM plan and beginning the HIM plan. I know I’ll be able to pick up swim fitness easily but it’s been quite some time since I’ve been on the bike. Would it be best to fill that period with an Oly plan finishing with a self race and then jumping into the HIM plan or would it be better to do something with a tri maintenance plan.
