I just did a 70.3 on Sunday. (4:38) First race of year. I used the level 1 70.3 plan. I have one more, a sprint in 2 weeks. I was wondering what the best plan to take leading up to the sprint. If I should try any formal training or just a rest week this week and the taper for race week.
Thanks David. The main reason I put the race time to indicate fitness level for you to use. Didn’t know if that would make a difference. It was a best time for me. I’m 46 and switched to the level 1 plan for better recovery. It worked good for me. I believe I will be using level 1 going forward I’ve always thought more was better but not for me the older I get.
