    David,

    Whats the thought on me subbing out my 30 minute monday strength session for a 20-30 minute open water swim instead?

    I love the idea, it has very little impact to your taper. The strength session is slightly better, but at that point in the plan we’re really splitting hairs trying to compare the outcome of the two workouts. I’d even argue that if you are a weak swimmer, that swim workout is a better choice than the strength session.
