Loving the 80/20 Level 3 IM plan.
Am on week 4, and was wondering whether it is recommended to test my swim, bike, and run thresholds?
I use power for bike and run.

I note that every 4 weeks for the bike and run, there are wkos that include 20-25 mins of Zone3, so perhaps those wkos could be used to test?
Absolutely. You could substitute the test for one of your harder workouts. Now if you’re testing all 3 (run, bike, and swim), I might not do those all on the same week. My thought is that it might leave you more fatigued and likely to underperform.
However, I’m just doing a running program. Maybe one of the triathlon experts could address the timing of doing all 3 tests.
