I’m hanging out on the forom for a while, just reading and picking up tips and tricks. Now I have a question myself about the plan I’m following and how I can reschedule a work out. At the moment I’m running about 4 or 5 times a week, I cycle indoors once a week as a crosstraining session and include 2 or 3 strengt training of core workouts a week.
Currently I’m following the Half marathon level 2 plan from the 80/20 Running book to improve my half marathon time. The last time I set was 1.35:19 in february 2019.
I’m in week 9 of the lvl 2 hm plan. In about two weeks (week 11) there’s a long run with fast finish 2 planned. Due to other obligations I’m probably not able to do running that weekend. So my question is: can I move the long workout to earlier in the week, should I move it ahead or or just cancel it? (By the way, I can’t do any longer runs then 45 minutes on monday.)
I guess it’s a key workout so I’m not happy on canceling it. Can you help me out?
