When doing a running FTP (power), how does a treadmill vs a track vs a regular outdoor run compare?
I wonder mostly about the treadmill? Let’s say one does the FTP test on the treadmill, how well does that translate for outdoor runs?
It should translate close to 100%. I can’t speak from personal experience, but this is what has been reported to me by others. Indoor/outdoor power discrepancies seem to be consistently greater on the bike.
