So I finally have pool access but only the weekends. I have a race on 17 April and was wondering if it would be feasible to shift my next two weeks of swims to Saturday and Sunday of the weekends before the race to at least get some pool time.
If I were in your shoes I would definitely do some version of that. If you haven’t been swimming at all, it will be too much to do the scheduled swims in the plan back to back, but as you say, you can at least get some pool time. I’d probably do intervals on Saturday and drills + easy laps on Sunday.
I went back to the blogs and used the Return to Swimming information you provided and setup some easy workouts for this weekend and next. Nothing hard or strenuous, just something that will get me comfortable in the pool again.
