I see Hill Repeats (RHR22) coming up in my workout plan. However, I live in south Louisiana and there aren’t any convenient hills to use for a workout like this. I’ve read your comments that hill workouts are really just speedwork in disguise, so is it OK to do this workout on a flat road and run the “hill” sections as a relaxed sprint — shooting for RPE 9ish?
Brian, sorry for the late reply. Yes, that’s the best option other than using a treadmill, just hit the prescribed intensity on the flats instead of the hills.
