I am a first time triathlete and about to purchase your Level 0 70.3 program. I am however only able to start training in 10 days time due to an injury (Physio recommendation) and will therefore be two weeks late to start the 18 week program as the race is on 6 June 2021.
Should I jump straight into week 3 of the program? I would prefer to not do this.
FYI – I did get 10 weeks into a different training program for the 2020 Cairns 70.3 before it was cancelled so I am not completely new to training.
You’re exactly right, don’t jump into Week 3. Start with Week 1 and we’ll adjust from there. Finish the first 3 weeks of the plan, then check in with me here again on how your training went for those first 3 weeks. Based on that report, I’ll cut two weeks out of the plan to get you back on track, or recommend you go another 3-week cycle before we make changes.
