Quick question on how to work in rests or what affect rests have on swimming workouts. Right now I’m in maintenance but I’m having to rest after 150 or 200 yards (even in Z1, don’t ask about Z2+)
So while the workout says I should finish in 44 minutes or so I’m sitting at over an hour easy. Thanks to Covid and life I didn’t swim at all in 2020 and am just getting back into it.
So should I cut the distance down or should I keep at it? Note that this is swim so going slower won’t help.
