Hi guys, My Saturdays are going to be really jammed with kids sports very soon, curious if its REALLY detremental to flip my long(er) ride to Sunday and long run to Sat? I am sure its not ideal, but I pretty much have to switch the sat ride to another day no matter what.
I could run long midweek, but assuming that creates a lot more shifting overall.
It can actually be a positive. Not something I would have an athlete do routinely, but running long on fresh legs and biking long on fatigued legs will be novel training stimuli, and novel is good unless it’s outright reckless, and this is not. I say go for it!
