I’m on week 6 of the 80/20 level 2 5K (pace) plan and think I need to update my zones after improving fitness… so do I sacrifice a foundation run to do a test? I’ve been pretty high on the effort spectrum last couple weeks and I am for sure feeling some fatigue, so I am a little worried about goofing up my low:high effort ratio.

We recommend doing testing during your transition weeks and you can replace the tempo run with a full field test or do a modified field test. However you can do the talk test in replacement of a foundation Run on any week if you want to get your zone info sooner.
