In Training Peaks, should the Cross-Train calendar entries be treated as placeholders and replaced with what will actually be accomplished that day? Or will TP mark the cross-train entry as completed when I upload any workout for the day? I’m piggybacking my wife’s Les Mills subscription and would like to use their strength and core programs and figured I would program them into the appropriate days in TP.
By default, the workout “profile” in TP for the 80/20 cross-train options is still a run. If you were to perform a strength session, for example, it would upload the strength session as an “other” profile and leave the original cross-train run workout as incomplete. If, however, you change the workout profile in advance to a bike, strength, or other, then TP will match up the uploaded workout to that workout.
It’s really not a big deal if your strength uploads to a new workout and leaves the run incomplete. Just delete the incomplete run.
