I am currently in the level 2 Olympic plan with the peak working towards an “A” race on June 12th. I am also doing a sprint race on May 8th that I would consider to be the “B” race for me. Any suggestions on how to adjust my plan headed into and out of the “B” race? I plan to sit down and look at some things this weekend, but thought I would seek some suggestions on here to also get some ideas. Thanks!
Timing looks perfect to me. That’s a recovery week in the plan. No adjustments needed beyond cancelling Sunday’s ride and possibly moving that day’s swim to Monday.
Good call. Yes, I’d suggest you do a couple of short transition runs. The first could be 10 minutes in Zone 2, the second 10 minutes in Zone 3. Doesn’t sound like much, but it will do the trick for an early B race.
