    Hello,

Is it possible to export your training plan to the Stryd application so I could use with the Stryd Workout app in my Garmin watch?

Can I create a FIT or TCX file ?

    Many thanks

You can link the two accounts so the workouts from TP cross into your Stryd calendar.

As Gerald says you can set it up automaticaly – its what I do.

A couple of things that trip some people up – you need to downloand and use the Stryd Workout app on your Garmin device – you cant use the native Power fields on your Garmin watch as those only work with Garmin power meters. You also need to disable Stryd automaticaly calculating critical power. See the link Gerald posted.

If you get stuck with the setup then the Stryd chat help people are very good and know what to do.

Hello and thank you for the help.

I have been using the Stryd Workout APP for about 6 months and it is all connected.

What I’m struggling with is to have the Training Peaks Calendar syncing with stryd calendar as I can’t see the new 80/20 plan that I just add to the training Peaks app.

It is all connected via stryd and training peaks, weird.

    Great news.

    1) Was the TP workouts syncing with Stryd prior to the new plan? Just asking the obvious I know. 😁

    2) How long has it been since you added the plan. The Stryd app says Stryd only automatically syncs twice a day. You can manually synch as well to get it done sooner.

    3) Is Stryd set to import workouts?

    1) Yes but the workouts were Heart Rate based and not useful with the Stryd workout app.

    2) Added the training plan just a while ago, it could be the reason.. I thought it would sync almost immediately.

    3) Yes but TP is not listed on “import from”.

The idea is to import the plan before the workout so I can do the workout based on power via Stryd Workout app on my Garmin watch

    Thanks for the info.

You need to turn import from on. That is how Stryd pulls the workouts into the system.

Also, Stryd typically only pulls in about 5 days at a time.

“Import from” it is ON – BUT the TP is not listed there:

    Import From
Pull your data from the enabled platform after a run has been completed. Only runs with power data will be imported.

    Garmin

    Suunto

    COROS

    Polar

    Suunto Movescount

    Export To
Sends runs to 3rd party accounts after uploading to Stryd. If you see duplicate runs on the 3rd party site, disable your watch platform exports to the selected site.

    Today’s Plan

    Final Surge

    Training Peaks

    Strava

    2PEAK

    Try this

    In the Stryd Android/iPhone app

Settings -> Connected Accounts -> Training Peaks -> Import Workouts From [Turn on]

    Also, select Manually Synch Workouts

If that doesn’t work, I’d recommend contacting Stryd Support. They should be able to assist you quickly. 😁

Tried you suggestion and the import workouts was actually OFF on the Stryd APP.
Synced manually but no go.. 🙁

I will wait until tomorrow.. maybe it comes with some magic otherwise will contact the Srtd support.

    Many thanks!!

Well it didn’t work … strange that It can upload a workout after it is done but not the workouts to be done from my TP training plan on my calendar.

Hi – having been through some of this pain – my trouble shooting suggestions

Check if the TP -> Stryd is working

    1. Try creating a new POWER based structured workout in TP
    2. Manually force a sync using the Stryd mobile app as described above by Gerald (having made sure that both export and import is enabled.
    3. Check it is in your Stryd calendar

If that does not work – contact Stryd support.

    If it does work
Delete and re-apply the 8020 plan in TP. I need to do this some times if I change an activity as the sync does not pick up the change.
    1. do you have a POWER based 8020 TP plan. ***HR/Pace plans wont work***. If not the 8020 folk will change it for you.
    2. Delete the plan in your TP calendar, manually sync Stryd and verify that future activities have gone from the Stryd calendar
    3. Re-apply the ***POWER*** based plan in TP and resync with stryd.
    4. Check your Stryd callendar
If that does not work – contact Stryd support.

Good luck – it is worth it when you get it set up.

    Thank you!

I have tried yesterday exactly that you mentioned, with my new power plan on TP but weird enough it doesn’t show in the Stryd calendar app, even with manually syncing.

I have tried to contact Stryd support since yesterday but so far zero response. Everyone else , TP / 80/20 are really quick but Stryd support is disappointing so far.

    Cheers
