First time Training Peaks users with the 80/20 plan.
I would like to do the full marathon 80/20 pace-based training plan. I read that it is alright to update your pace one time during the 18 week plan, by running a race or tt.
However I was looking at how to do this in Training Peaks and I can update my threshold pace but it does not change my workouts in Training Peaks or in Garmin. If I were to update my Pace Base/Threshold Pace in the middle of the 18 weeks how to I update my workouts. Right now, I can easily change the pace zones, but the workouts do not update.
Second, I believe that this issue is due to your changing the Default Speed/Pace zones in TP, and not creating a new Run Speed/Pace zone in TP. TP only pulls from the Run Speed/Pace Zones in most cases, and will not use Default.
