    I am in the final 2 weeks of the race specific training for the half Ironman distance level 1. I will be traveling on Sunday when I am supposed to be doing CAe8 and RF9. That is a huge workout and I don’t think I should just skip it. I could possibly complete it next Monday but next week is a big week for training so I don’t know if I should modify something else if I move it to Monday.
    I would appreciate any guidance.

    Any chance you can do a 1 hour run Sunday? Best option would be to do a 1 hour Zone 2 run on Sunday (when traveling), then the big brick workout on Monday, with Tuesday off.

    If you can’t do anything on Sunday, do the brick on Monday, and a 30-minute Zone 1 run on Tuesday.

    Thank you. Hopefully one of those options will work. If for some reason I cannot do the full brick on Monday because of work commitments, can you suggest a plan assuming I can do a one hour run on Sunday and a two hour workout on Monday? Thanks for the help.

    That final brick is important, and a modified and reduced version can be done up to 10 days prior to the race. If you can’t do it Sunday or Monday, do it Tuesday or Wednesday.

    If Monday is out, then do the 1 hour run on Sunday, 1.5 hours easy bike on Monday, and a brick on Tuesday modified down to 2.5 hours on the bike and a 1 hour run.

    Or, ping me again when you are closer to that week-end and can confirm your schedule.
